Thermoset polyurethane elastomer products just got a lot easier to find, if not to pronounce, today as ThomasRegister.com and ThomasRegional.com integrate to form a new industrial search engine - ThomasNet.com.

Focused on bringing industrial buyers and sellers together, the site boasts over 20 million CAD drawings and 650,000 distributors as well as manufacturers and service companies from over 67,000 product and service categories.

The site is highly customizable - users can modify search results, save profiles, and email potential suppliers, features that may sound basic to some, but are pretty impressive when you consider the number of manufacturers still stuck in the Dark Ages

This launch comes on the heels of recent press that says manufacturers may have some deep pockets right about now.

This is good news for Thomas. The new site is great with the web results from all manufacturers web sites. Probably the best niche engine out there. I noticed that Charlene Li from Forrester said that “ThomasNet’s industrial directory sets the gold standard when it comes to industrial search in North America”. There’s kudo’s for ya!

Saw that new ThomasNet.com site. Excellent search results in their industrial web search. Purchasing Magager and Engineer’s dream.

I used to use the Thomas Register big green books all the time but now ThomasNet.com provides me with all the info I need - way quicker
