The rumors have been flying for weeks, but Caterina Fake finally makes it official in a post on the Flickr Blog.
We’ll have much more to say about the acquisition later. In the meantime, Jeremy Zawodny has shared some thoughts about how Flickr’s use of tags, RSS, and open API’s can be integrated into Yahoo’s braod set of services to create an entirely new set of offerings.
