Gary Flake, formerly a vice president and principal scientist at Yahoo, will be working for MSN’s Internet unit focusing his efforts on search starting this June. Search Engine Watch has more.
This is obviously an effort on MSN’s part to catch up to Google and Yahoo! by poaching their people. In the meantime, Yahoo’s fighting back with news of a new hire and the expansion of their research labs. Here’s the story.
