Who knew? Certainly not us. That Microsoft would recommend AdSense for bloggers looking to generate revenue from their sites. Search Engine Journal points to an article on Microsoft’s Small Business Center that outlines 5 tips for making money from your blog. Here’s a snippet from Tip #1:

“Sell advertising. This is likely the most common means of leveraging a blog to generate income…For lesser-known blogs, services such as Google’s AdSense or BlogAds enable bloggers to establish ad programs.”
Even if he is a freelancer, wonder if Wuorio’s forgotten exactly who’s cutting his check. It’s no secret Microsoft’s been developing its own ad program, and articles like these aren’t exactly the best PR.
