Tony Danza Teams Up with iWon.com for Promo

No question about it - search is so hot right now, what with dweebs big names like Richard Branson getting on board with Yahoo! as part of a bid to give away 10 million free ads to one lucky business.
Tony Danza is the latest celeb getting on board, as the TV talk show host and former Judith Light muse helped Jeeves-owned iWon.com give away $1 million dollars to a software engineer from Oklahoma, just for using the ’search-n-win’-based site.
Danza presented winner Ronald Kinsey with the standard oversized novelty check on his show and all the usual fanfare ensued. Said Ronald in an interview with AdFreak:
“Tony seems to be a pretty nice person.”
Maybe so, but we at SearchViews have an inside contact at one of the major late-night shows that says he once got so thoroughly chewed out by the housekeepin’ tough guy that he almost cried.
“It was crazy, here it was, my very first day as an intern, and Tony Danza is on the phone screaming at me.”
