At age 10, she’s one of the youngest Microsoft Certified Professionals ever and she’s got a few questions for Bill Gates. Why are there so many more men than women at Microsoft? (The ratio is about 75% vs. 25%) Why doesn’t the company hire people her age? (We’re guessing it’s cause hiring pre-teens wouldn’t go over so well in the States)
Arfa Karim Randhawa of Pakistan, pictured here, recently spent a week at Microsoft’s Redmond campus where she participated in a series of informal meetings with Microsoft execs and employees, including Bill Gates himself, whom Arfa named as “second only to Disneyland” on her list of things she wanted to see in the United States.
More here, including an interview with young Arfa in which she talks about how she got her start at age 5 and discloses her plans for the future (Harvard U, becoming a satellite engineer, and making the rest of us feel that much more worthless).

Wow. Somebody should draft this girl into a long-term contract like we do with athletes
Impressive.
Well, everyone can see the hard working eyes of this young girl, because she is a programmer. Programming is not related to the gender, that is like to say driving is related to genders. But, because of the role of a man ( working for family ) he is more professional that a woman or a girl, because he has to work hard to earn more money, but, this role has to be changed for a woman after marriage or in an another sights !
hi im salim i from pakistan what is your name please tel me ho old are you buy buy buy from salim
That’s brilliant! I always believed in hard work. I thought a hard working person could achieve anything he wanted to in this world but seeing this girl, it seems that hardwork is not the only thing required for success. Intelligence which is a god gifted thing plays important role in one’s success. Of course, this girl is very hard working but passing an MCP exam at the age of 10 is pure intelligence. Awesome!! I wish this little guru more success in her life.
Thanks
