She’s got the ‘bod that sold a thousand ‘Pods and little else to show for it.
Mandy Coulton is a 26 year-old dancer from Los Angeles and one of 10 individuals pictured in immensely popular Apple iPod campaign. She received a one-time flat fee of $1500 for the photo shoot and considers the white plastic device too rich for her tastes:
“I would like one - but $400 for an iPod is too much for me at the moment. I can’t justify spending that much money when I have day-to-day stuff to pay for, like the car and rent.”
Coulton insists that she’s “not bitter” though given all the money and buzz Apple’s made off the campaign it’s hard to see why.
The New York Post has the rest.

Pretty freakin’ cheap of Apple, wouldn’t you say? Would it have killed ‘em to give her an iPod, even an iPod shuffle as a thank you gift?
