Gary Price of SearchEngineWatch has all the details on Ask Jeeves’ latest iteration of their personal search product, MyJeeves1.2. The new sites features new bookmarklets, the ability to upload photos from a computer or cell phone, image tagging, and more.

If you’re looking to get closer to the source, the official Ask Jeeves blog has the full story, including how the team at Jeeves decided on the product’s approach.

That approach is a combination of tagging + foldering that incorpates the user-defined aspect of tagging with the traditional information hierarchy we all know and love (well, sort of) - folders. Sounds like a good plan and it’s smart of Jeeves to focus so intensely on usability.

Search engine roundtable has a look at how it compares to the new Yahoo product.
