The days of “makin’ copies” may be long behind us, but don’t think they’re down for the count.
In the last four years Xerox Corporation has emerged from near bankruptcy and re-established itself as an innovator in its space. Two-thirds of its $15.7 billion dollar annual revenue are derived from products and services that are less than two years old, a far cry from its paper pusher reputation of days past.
At the helm is CEO Anne Mulcahy, who’s been billed by some as a “corporate turnaround artist” and one of Forbes 10 Most Powerful Women of 2005.
Journalist and tech entrepreneur John Battelle interviewed Mulcahy as part of his “TITANS OF TECH” series. It’s a great piece, with insights on branding, the company’s paper to digital transition, and whether or not Mulcahy will take over Carly Fiorina’s spot at HP.
