David Sifry is at it again, posting Part 4 of his “State of the Blogosphere” series, Spam and Fake Blogs.
Sifry begins by defining what each of these terms mean, going on to explain the impact comment and trackback spam have on blogs. Sifry then talks about what Technorati is doing about it as well as the Web Spam Squashing Summit held earlier this year.
A good read on a relatively slow day (everyone’s still in the thick of SES).
