Introducing FeedCast

If you ever took a slug of Crystal Pepsi during its short-lived existence (1992-1993 R.I.P.) you know that new for new’s sake alone isn’t always the best business approach - for a business or its customers. There has to be a real need. A problem to be solved and a product capable of solving it.

If you ever took a slug of Crystal Pepsi during its short-lived existence (1992-1993 R.I.P.) you know that new for new’s sake alone isn’t always the best business approach - for a business or its customers. There has to be a real need. A problem to be solved and a product capable of solving it.

This week we’ll be unveiling a new search engine marketing solution that hopefully does just that (and with a lot less sugar).

It’s called FeedCast and it’s an all-in-one campaign creation and management solution designed specifically for companies with breaking content. This includes blog networks, newspaper publishers, classified advertisers and pretty much any business who needs to quickly distribute time-sensitive information to a wide audience.

FeedCast came about as the result of our work with clients who were frustrated with the traditional process of getting search campaigns out the door.

Their pain points were two-fold:

  1. Launching a campaign takes much time and manual labor. By the time you scan content for useful words & phrases, write creatives and upload your campaign, “breaking” content is no longer “breaking” - it’s outdated, irrelevant or both. This means lost time and money.
  2. The ever-changing and often strict editorial policies of search engines and auction-based providers can result in slow-downs and delays as campaigns are bounced back or disabled altogether. Again, lost time and money.

So we sat down and listened to our clients. We researched the solutions that were already out there. We spent a lot of time and ingested a lot of caffeine.

The result is the patent-pending product we bring you today.

Here’s a quick look at all its bells & whistles:

Take a moment to check out the special page devoted to FeedCast on the Reprise site as well as the official press release.

This is the first in a series of solutions that we’re working on to better conform the search channel to the needs of our clients. We’d love to hear what you have to say so send us an email or drop a note in the comments below.
