eBay has announced it’ll be partnering with VeriSign’s online payment service as part of a $370 million deal that will help its merchants manage and process online transactions and eBay expand its offering to more small and medium-sized customers.
The auction giant will also be partnering with VeriSign on a number of new security initiatives, including a program that will give customers one-time passwords or digital certificates in the hopes of preventing identity theft. The program will roll out sometime next year.

It’s very good for the eBay and paypal users ! I readed somewhere that Security has always been a costly issue for PayPal as they require a large team to deal with fraud. Maybe Verisign’s solve this problem !!!
