Google’s released an updated version of its keyword tool and it’s about a month earlier than expected.

Here are some highlights:

  1. You can now download recommended keywords to .csv/.xls file
  2. You can add recommended keywords directly to campaign ad groups
  3. More extensive keyword information through the “Show Columns” drop down menu:
    • Keywords Only - Turns out a straight list of keywords to download & expand
    • Keyword Popularity - A graphical display of the number of bidders / queries made
    • Cost & Ad Position Estimates - More up-to-date pricing estimates
  4. The addition of a new function under the “Site-Related keyword” tab, which allows you to enter a URL which is then crawled or looked up against its index for recommended keywords.

Detailed information can be found here.
