Q: Who was visionary enough to register a domain name before the Internet as we know it even existed?
A: Symbolics Inc.
They bought Symbolics.com way back in March 1985.
They were followed a little over a month later by BBN Technologies, the owners of BBN.com and the more widely-known Oracle, who scooped up Think.com exactly a month later.
