No one knows the future better than Wired.
OK, maybe that weird lady that’s always on Montel.
But still, they’ve got it down when it comes to predicting what’s going to be new and next in the world of technology, science and culture.
Today they’re running the first of a two-part series that takes a look at the “technologies of tomorrow” - what will be big and what will mostly likely be headed for the waste bin (make that compost heap).
A few highlights:
Simplicity: It won’t be about adding tons of functionality to devices we already own, it will be about making them more useful and easy to operate.
An IT Revolution: Multiple technologies will converge and our electronics and computing systems will keep getting better. Expect lots of gadget lust from consumers.
