Smells Like Wet Nerd: Xbox 360 Debuts

This isn’t a bread line for the homeless or a group of unfortunates waiting outside a methadone clinic.

This is a group of geeks standing outside in the rain, waiting for the new Xbox 360.

See more shots of hardcore fans waiting in the rain and check out the official Xbox site coverage of the new gaming system that will be hotter this Christmas than a Cabbage Patch Kid on fire.

Then hear the NY Times weigh in with the expected product-shortage-as-marketing-ploy story and check out this fun man (err, woman) on the street review of the new system.

i have purchased 2 games @60.00 apiece and after about a month of playing the game, the game started developing circular grooves on the disk, and after contacting xbox support, the problem is the owner fault, and not the defect of the machine, cleaning with a clean soft cloth does not fix the problem, and at 60.00$ a game i should get a lot more use,is their anyone else having had the same problems, because this have been a expensive learning experience
