Late yesterday Google rolled out a version of Gmail for mobile phones.
Gmail Mobile is the Lilliputian version of the search engine’s email service developed specifically for cell phones and mobile devices.
A few of the features described on the What is Gmail Mobile? page:
- An interface that scales to fit the size of the screen that you’re using
- The ability to view attachments, including photos, PDFs and MS Word docs
- Automatically synchronization with your regular Gmail inbox
- Respond by email or call once phone numbers are entered into your Gmail Contacts list
