Like a groundhog sticking his head out a hole or Bobby Brown going back to jail, the first of the predictable “Top Search Terms of The Year” articles has made it press debut.

It comes in the form of a Lycos press release containing the 50 Most Searched Terms of 2005.

Here’s a run-down of the Top 10:

   Why do you say “Oh America, you classy nation, you.”? This is the worldwide web, which means that the search terms were not enetered exclusively by Americans, nor even exclusively by English language speakers.
