Two new search-related interviews to tell you about today.
The first is really new, as in “hasn’t-even-happened-yet” and comes from the team at Yahoo. Following up on last year’s high profile hire of search pioneer Andrei Broder, Yahoo is soliciting questions for Broder from readers of its Yahoo! Search Blog. As a refresher, Broder is “a noted expert on design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms for Web-scale information retrieval and applications.” He’s also the guy behind this annoying but important invention.
The second interview appears in The Guardian. Del.icio.us creator Joshua Schachter shares his thoughts on the company’s recent sale, disastrous service outage over the holiday break and his old “double life” as Wall Street suit by day, Web 2.0 hacker by night. Read it here.
