Microsoft Debuts New Ad Technologies

Weird science is afoot at Microsoft. Today the company debuted its AdCenter Incubation Lab, giving the public a look at some of the 40 ad delivery prototypes its been working on over the last year as part of an AdCenter Demo Fest at its headquarters in Redmond.
One of the most interesting projects underway is a video ad system which automatically detects the appearance of products in a TV show or commercial and serves up relevant ads accordingly. Viewers can click on the image to view more information about the product and find out how to purchase.
