Time to start pricing Camaros and perfecting that combover, Apple. You’ll soon turn 30 and it’s all downhill from there.
Well, not necessarily. There’s lots of happy Apple stories in the press today. Here are just a few:
- On 30th Birthday Apple Still Innovating
- Steve Jobs’ Best Quotes Ever in WIRED
- Celebrating Three Decades of Apple in CNET News
- Apple Timeline in San Francisco Chronicle
- Postcards from the Mac Faithful - Apple Fans Talk About How the Product Has Affected Their Lives
One person who probably won’t be sending along any anniversary wishes is Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. He was recently quoted in an interview with CNN Money as not allowing his children to use competitor products of any kind, including iPods:
“My children - in many dimensions they’re as poorly behaved as many other children, but at least on this dimension I’ve got my kids brainwashed: You don’t use Google, and you don’t use an iPod.”
