On the small screen NBC’s ratings continue to slide, as much as 14 percent this season alone.
The big picture, however, tells a much different story.
The broadcast giant has big plans in the works for the upcoming 2006-2007 season, many of them have to do with moving its media online and innovating its offerings.
A quote from NBC CEO Jeff Zucker in a recent article in the New York Times:
“We [NBC] have put a ton of thought and a ton of effort into the digital world. We want to be your digital partner.”
Zucker also said that the network has “more than 100 ideas, ready to go.”
