While we typically don’t use SearchViews as a platform for Reprise Media company news, we’re very proud of the latest version of our PROSuite campaign management platform and thought we’d make an exception. You may have seen our press release yesterday. And if you didn’t, well, that’s what we’re here for.
First off, what is PROSuite? PROSuite is an internal tool that manages the end to end Production, Reporting and Optimization process (get it?) of paid search campaigns from a centralized and standardized platform. Our team uses the platform to guide the creation and management of campaigns for all of our clients.
So what’s new and different? The newest version of PROSuite now integrates more than 15 search engines. In addition to direct API access to the usual suspects - Google, Yahoo!, and MSN - PROSuite also integrates APIs from a series of other engines including Ask, Miva, Kanoodle, Enhance, and Looksmart, creating what we believe to be the broadest network of search engine advertising available in the market.
Now, you might be thinking, ‘Big deal, I get all the traffic I need from Google, Yahoo! and MSN. What’s the point of chasing after the tiny percentage of leftover attainable by those smaller engines?’ While the percentage might look small, the fact is that it represents tens of millions of searches. And since some of our clients are ‘capped out’ on the Big 3, spending as much on them as is profitable, that additional inventory starts to loom much, much larger.
Here’s a couple more reasons why we think the new PROSuite is important:
- It standardizes the campaign-building process, making it easier and faster to launch broad campaigns, and API access allows us to seamlessly push out new campaigns and pull in reporting data.
- PROSuite allows us to be “engine blind,”: we can manage campaigns based on what actually converts, rather than scrambling madly for top placements on Google and Yahoo!
We’re obviously excited about this; thankfully, we’re not the only ones.
David Jakubowski, General Manager of Search Strategies and GTM for MSN, says that “Reprise Media’s PROSuite platform positions them as one of the companies to watch in the search marketing industry.”
And James Speer, VP of Marketing & Products for Search Marketing at Ask.com, says, “Reprise Media’s approach to search engine marketing has made them a strong partner for Ask.com, and a premier choice for marketers looking to capture the full value of search.”
Thanks guys, we like you too.
