Reprise Media is very excited to announce that three of our stellar cast have been nominated for Best Search Copy Campaign at this year’s Online Media Marketing & Advertising (OMMA) Awards. This will be the first awards ceremony held for online advertising in conjunction with MediaPost’s annual 2-day OMMA Conference & Expo. SO, Congratulations (lots of high fives are going on right now) to Eric Friedman, Jocelyn Bourguignon, and John Chan, who did a really terrific job on the “Psych” campaign for USA Network.
Because we’re only partially vain, we also wanted to highlight some of the other really cool campaigns that have been nominated this year.
- Deep Focus, one of the most innovative agencies we’ve seen, set up a Google Maps mash-up for The Sopranos to display the exact locations of major whackings and other events on the show. Each plot point comes with a video clip, giving viewers a virtual Sopranos tour of New York and New Jersey. Very very addictive.
- MTV Networks’ “video mixer” with TheN.com and Skittles challenged teen viewers to remix video clips, music and graphics into their own 10-second Skittles video. At the end of a 6 month campaign, there were 131,700 user-generated video mash-ups.
- True North Inc created a too-cute in-banner video for the Muppet Show on DVD. Who can deny the Muppets when they sweetly ask you to turn on the sound?
Those are just a few of the finalists who caught our eye. If you’re in the New York area and you want to immerse yourself in two whole days of Online Media, Marketing & Advertising, you can register here to attend the full OMMA conference. This year’s OMMA is taking place at the Marriott Marquis, September 25 – 26. Good luck Eric, Jocelyn & John!
