Apple Unveils iPhone: Touch Screen, iTunes, Camera, WiFi, Bluetooth

Yet again, Steve Jobs has caused a stampede for the press room with a series of major announcements in today’s MacWorld Keynote speech:

12:34 pm : iTV will actually be called Apple TV - Device has 40GB hard drive, stores 50 hrs video
12:36 pm: Apple TV holds movies, TV shows, music, photos
12:38 pm: Apple […]

Yet again, Steve Jobs has caused a stampede for the press room with a series of major announcements in today’s MacWorld Keynote speech:

12:34 pm : iTV will actually be called Apple TV - Device has 40GB hard drive, stores 50 hrs video
12:36 pm: Apple TV holds movies, TV shows, music, photos
12:38 pm: Apple TV can stream to 5 PCs
12:43 pm: Apple unveils iPhone- “Apple is going to reinvent the phone”
12:48 pm: iPhone has touch-screen interface aka “multi-touch” - Phone has absolutely no buttons, all controlled by touch.
12:58 pm: iPhone connects with iTunes

12:59 pm: iPhone has 2 mpx camera (”apple has never shipped a screen with this kind of resolution before”)
1:06 pm: iPhone has WiFi, Bluetooth
1:30 pm: AAPL already up nearly 6%

Analysts are calling it the next major product in Apple’s history. “The market has seen nothing like this before” says CNBC, it “could ship more than 14 million phones.” 4G units are being priced at $499, 8G at $599 - the phone will be available in US stores this June.

    iPhone is available with Cingular ONLY!? And what if I am stuck under contract with a carrier OTHER than Cingular but still want a iPhone?
    Well, the only solution I could fine was http://www.Cellswapper.com - they get you out of any cell phone contract!
