Speakers from Google, Six Flags, Kayak.com, Interep, the History Channel and Reprise Media will be there for a roundtable discussion on the convergence of old and new media. Josh Stylman will speak for Reprise Media about the role of search in cross-media advertising and how search connects consumers to marketers.
If you’d like to attend the breakfast, sign up via the Newhouse website (see: Technology and Media Breakfast).
Here’s more information from their newsletter:
TECHNOLOGY AND MEDIA BREAKFAST, APRIL 20
The convergence of media, technology and entertainment is positioned to make the next big impact on YOU. Time magazine named the person of the year “you.” AdAge named the agency of the year “the consumer.” Marketers must find a way to survive in an on-demand, digital, consumer-driven world where people pick their idols, create their online communities, and do everything on their own time. What will be the next big impact on YOU?
The Newhouse Alumni Club of Metropolitan New York in association with Interep (www.interep.com) will be sponsoring a breakfast panel discussion to find out what industry leaders are doing to position their offerings as the next “must haves.” Representatives from Google, A&E, Six Flags, Kayak.com, Interep, and Reprise Media will share their perspectives on what it will take to be on top tomorrow.
WHEN: Friday, April 20 at 8am
WHERE: Interep Office; 100 Park Avenue, 5th Floor (b/w 40th and 41st Streets)
COST: $15 nonmember/$10 member with payment to be collected via paypal. All proceeds to go to the benefit of The Newhouse Alumni Club of Metropolitan New York.
