Google Analytics just unleashed a new interface with more visual data and extremely user-friendly navigation. From the Analytics Blog,
“We’ve redesigned the reporting interface for greater customization and collaboration. This should make it easier for businesses and website owners to find and share the data you need to make informed decisions. The new version presents data more clearly and in context, so you can look at a single report to gain insights rather than having to pull up several reports to understand what action to take.”
And it’s pretty good looking - check out screenshots at Search Engine Land. Andy Beal takes a first look at the UI, praising its clean dashboard and reporting options. Mashable gives it a glowing review, and notes that the Analytics re-design helps Google dissuade advertisers’ concerns about moving into new advertising markets,
“These [new features] help site and business owners make better decisions for their ad campaigns..It is being noted that with Google’s move into broader markets, especially those concerning AdWords and online display ads among other things, they’re improving their free Analytics tools for the purpose of gaining support with of web marketers. Building confidence in this arena will translate into more dollars spent with Google’s advertising programs. The timing is right for garnering support, as some are in dismay regarding Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick. As Google expands their markets, some have become wary about Google’s ability to do the job right, not become a monopoly, and avoid being “evil.””
Last but not least, Google has gotten a lot of initial praise from their most important reviewers - current Analytics users. Check out first-hand accounts from Avinash Kaushik, Frivolous Motion, and Garett Rogers, among others.

Sweet, I’m so excited!! I LOVE Google Analytics. It really helps to know the flow of people coming to your site. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
I appreciate the link! GA looks better and better the more I use the new version, though there are a couple things I miss from the old interface (at least, I haven’t found them yet).
